However, you need to pay attention as to where you jump him, going too far away from allies will result in him being shredded before you can reach him or jump away. So he's best used to initiate an ambush.
I also tend to give him the melta-bombs, as this allows him to jump into a group, melta bomb any vehicle with them, and decimate a group so your others only need to mop them up.
Thaddeus can go either way for Terminator Armour. He can still cause damage with some of his abilities but not as much as in power armour. Chaos Rising: Thaddeus becomes the true king of melee DPS with one trait near the end of the melee tree.
This is especially deadly with combined with the ability that lets you use his abilities with no cooldown or power cost, and will annihilate entire hordes. Terminator armour is helpful to keep him alive, and with the enhanced explosive strike it doesn't harm his damage very much, so i tend to base it off of the equipment i have.
Overall Thaddeus tends to be my purest character since some pure equipment is very powerful and compliment his abilities well, the power sword for saving the scouts is really strong for a Pure Thaddeus.
Not really much advice needed. I really like Corruption with Avitus. Gaining Energy for ever kill will essentially let him Focus Fire indefinitely as long as he has an enemy to shoot. Sometimes overlooked, Cyrus is a difficult character to use due to his low health and armour. But he Is easily the most powerful character in the game if you use him right. My main tip for using him is, fight like Cyrus.
It is best to not use him too much until you get the ability to let him use items without revealing himself, and acquiring the Demolition Charge. The Demo Charge can be placed, and then exploded later, once you have the two of these Cyrus can destroy bases of enemies in instantly. The Demo Charge destroys pretty much anything short of bosses instantly.
Equipment: I recommend the Sniper Rifle. It has very good range, letting him stay out of harms way if he gets caught in a straight fight, and it gives him High Powered Shot that can destroy anything short of a mini-boss or carnifex in 1 shot, all safely from out of their range. The Shotgun has good AOE, and its ability can destroy entire squads in 1 shot. Chaos Rising: Cyrus gets better in every way. Corruption is quite fun for Cyrus.
One Demo Charge can wipe entire bases and completely regen his power, but getting the power back without killing is going to cost Speed Stars.
His final Corruption ability can be really fun. He essentially turns another squad member into a bomb. Slap that on Thaddeus and jump him into a base. The true DPS of the game. The Dreadnought is very slow moving. Equipment: The Powerfist is the variety weapon for the Dreadnought.
He deals great damage in an area around him, doing high damage to high value targets and knocking back, most effective against heavy infantry and bosses. The Assault Cannon is the anti-infantry weapon. The basic weapon deals decent damage to tanks, but the ability will destroy entire armies and buildings with a single use. You can complete these in any order to continue, but each one has different rewards.
Prime Gene Samples give you the Dreadnaught. Defense of Angel's Forge give you Terminator Armor. User Info: Haussman. Shortly after the Tyranids make their appearance in the campaign, the campaign splits to give you 3 different objectives to work on.
One of these objectives is to obtain 3 prime gene samples; doing so allows you to locate a primary hive, and do the 'Into the Hive' mission. The dreadnought makes its appearance near the end of 'Into the Hive' during the final boss fight. User Info: slarb. Just use knock-down against this doppleganger build and should be OK. So as far as Litanies of Hate Taunt , what you do is simple, go to top or bottom build Collesium, or the Tanks in Anvil, you taunt shooting enemies that have no line of sight to you, what this does is causes them to run at you till the have an open shot, by this time your dread has probably murdered them, this is also great for ally with area of effect spells, draw the enemy to you then they do spell.
There are still some essential differences between them. The Feel no Pain item, however, also makes you capable of healing your allies and your Dreadnought, which is especially helpful as your Dreadnought will draw most of the enemy attention. If your having problems achieving kills for lightning Claws.
Use Plasma gun with the hellfire grenades and a dreadnought on Anvil. This is not difficult even if you are only lvl 11, if you use your plasma gun, granades and jump pack skillfully. I was in a game with a Mekboy who told us he was going for kills achievement. We agreed to stand by without sacraficing the game of course and let him go for the kills. With our cooperation he got kills by wave 18 in the Anvil of Khorne. It paid off, the claw is awesome and devastating when combined with the new dlc shield.
Has anyone found a good build for A Warrior Born achievement kills in a match. Personally, I found the shield to be fantastic. I tried a game in the Anvil of Khorne, with the following:.
End result? Except at a much later stage when we got slaughtered by a Hive Tyrant and a bunch of others, it worked exceptionally well. I could go one-on-one with most of the larger units and heal more damage than they could deal me, and slaughter entire swarms of smaller units in no time flat often for the sake of healing up damage taken elsewhere.
Dreadnoughts were somewhat of a problem, as were any other units that did frequent knockdown Fire Prisms, etc. Edit: I should mention that the Crushing Blows trait from the Relic Armor helps this build immensely, as you can be beating on a big unit and healing yourself and allies from it , while the damage is also spread to nearby smaller swarms. I just have to ask, why not the shield? Just prefer the health regen to the armor health and ranged resistance bonus?
We did it. Each item in this build; the weapons, the armor, the accessories and commander item were each carefully selected for melee and health regeneration.
Armor of Vengeance, has an armor Rating of and grants the trait of Reactive Strike, that is, the possibility that when the Captain is hit by a melee attack to damage and knockback the attacker. This was very very important and kept me at near full health for the entire game. My teammates were randomly selected by the match maker. Does anyone have any suggestions. The level three and four should be switched. You get them at opposite times like the plasma pistol first and the other one after, well that is my contribution.
This build not only does lots of damage over time, but it has a high health regeneration and high mobility. I have taken down two Wraithlords at once with this build and only sustained minor wounds. I have also tested this build on both last stand maps and found it to be extremely effective. However, this build works better on Bloodied Colosseum because you have space to back off and regenerate when you need to.
Space Marines… Spehs Mehrens… I personally never cared for them but even a hater like me can see how balanced they are. They evenly learn techniques for ranged combat and powerful melee. They have a minion. They have artillery properties. You can see why so many choose the Captain as their favourite. He is only improved by the addition of a Lightning Claw and Thunder Hammer. One has speed and power to cripple hordes of enemies. The other brings final judgement down upon the enemy with power to crush enemy armor.
He really is worthy of being called Supersoldier because the Space Marine is a force to be reckoned with. Go ahead and experiment. Level Lighning Claws not much initial damage, but the electric field that creates is accumulative, so consecutive hits and you can bring down even the wraight lord; notice that this wapon strikes at a very high velocity Depending on your Commander item if it si orbital strike or a Dreadnough the best armors are the Artificier Armour and the Armor of Vengeance.
The jump pack, the rites of fortitude and Parable of the Stalwart Brother for your items; and as I said, you can equip Dreadnought or the orbital strike depending on the equipment of your allies. The bolter pistol for sidegun. This built makes an almost unnestopable super-soldier, grants mobilite, and you can almost ignore the bullets of the minor foes. Imagine a caracter with HP, 5.
